CAMP EDGE'S MUDDY BOTTOM "CRAZY 8" MUD RUN
Come out and join the craziness at Camp Edge on October 9, 2010. If getting dirty and having fun is something you enjoy, then the Muddy Bottom Run is the perfect event for you!
The Crazy 8K Muddy Run is a jam-packed trail run filled with lots of slimy twists and turns. Some of the obstacles include bog crossings, mystery pits, grass crawls, muddy bottoms and some extra special Camp Edge surprises. Be sure to bring a towel and trash bag for your muddy clothes. Outdoor showers will be available after the run.
This year's run has a Wedding Theme! Do you have an old tux or suit? Do you have a bridesmaid dress that you know you'll never wear? Well put it on and come get it dirty during the Crazy 8K Muddy Bottom Race. You will instantly be eligible for a prize!
Remember, your registration fees are for a great cause! All proceeds from this event will help support summer programs at Camp Edge for inner city youth.
Registration will be open from 7-9:00 a.m. The race begins at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee is $35.00 per runner (if registered by October 4) or $40.00 per runner the day of the run.
Bring your friends and register as a team for Camp Edge’s Muddy Run. A three person team mud run fee is $105.00 (if registered by October 4) or $120.00 the day of the run.
This year’s Muddy Run also features a team division for members of the law enforcement community. The fee for a five person law enforcement team is $175.00 (if registered by October 4) or $200.00 the day of the run.
In order for Camp Edge to stick to the integrity of the course and give the best conditions to the Crazy 8K mud runners, this race is limited to the first 400 registered.
Some runs claim that you will get muddy; some runs claim you will get dirty. Here at Camp Edge, we are so confident that you will get MUDDY that we will give you a Muddy Back Guarantee. If you run the whole 8K race and fail to get dirty, muddy, wet and stinky, we will give you back your entry fee, no questions asked.
Warning! You will get muddy and you will get wet. Please do not wear your new running shoes on our course; they just might become a donation to one of the mud pits.

You can make your visit to Camp Edge a total outdoor experience by reserving a campsite. Come stay in a tipi, lean-to, rustic cabin, or in your own tent. RV’s and campers are welcome, but there is no electric hookup or waste disposal. Space is limited so register early. The cost is $10.00 per person.
Camp Edge rests on 78 acres of pristine forest and trails with a 14 acre lake. A former Boy Scout camp, the site includes a nature center, an archery range, and an activities field that has been home to hundreds of summer campers. A division of Ranch Hope, Inc., Camp Edge is located ¼ quarter mile off of Route 611 in Alloway Township, Salem County, NJ.
